Intro: Things started off normal with waking up at midnight for 4hrs of work, but there was a catch. I got slapped with 2 extra hours so of course how do you react…overload on coffee.
Hypothesis: I will need more coffee than normal.
Test Results: First 2 cups down the hatch, then I made 2 iced coffees after an hour or so to keep it interesting. This little cycle continued until around 5am I got a little light headed and I I couldn’t type on that little iPhone. OH yeah thats because my hands were shaking like crazy.
Conclusion: 7 cups of black coffee with nothing but some PB toast is not a good combo. Its like stopping at the 7/11, filling up your big gulp to the brim and sucking it down. In the future I will try candy…it seemed to work great for this kid.
I saw these guys open for Minus the Bear in Austin and let me say, they put on one good show. It just flows so well. Helio Sequence has a new album and this is the first video to go along with it.
This morning started off interesting ALMOST missing my flight to catch my ship and getting told no sir with 32minutes to go by the gate agent. After some sprinting I got there and they actually let me on. Once we got on the runway the plane broke and we actually deboarded for 3 hrs. Heres the “scumbag” story.
The guy next to me was super late..last guy on…and they gave his first class ticket to someone else. After the malfunction and deboarding he threw away his ticket and told the gate lady he needed another. When it came up with his seat, the coach class, he told them it was wrong and kicked the lucky lady out of her first class upgrade to get it. Now this is the best. His fat ass just walked back here and they made give it back once they figured it out…haha dude trying to screw someone out of that sweet upgrade.

In the 2 months of being home I only got to ride 3 times. Granted I was out nowhere near my boat for 6 of the 8 weeks. I managed to round up a few shots of the day. It was only Bill and myself so the actual wakeboard shots were hard to come by.

It has been 99 years since Shiner first started brewing those glorious beers right in the little Spoetzl Brewery. And today I just picked up a sixer of the new 99 anniversary beer. As they call it, a Munich style Lager this thing rocks. Its light like our pilsners, but it has real flavor like the beers from Europe. God Bless that little town and its little brewery.
