A truly epic story of the man. From first reading his Motorcycle Diaries, to watching the movie about the young man, this movie will show Che at his peak performance. A revoultionary in the fullest sense and Im eagerly awaiting the release in theaters.
This stuff is too funny. Get out some pictures and waste more time than you’re already doing.
Portrait photography always catches my eye. In reality all aspects of photography capture me as long as there is something unique and talented behind it. Talent is a relative term, held in each viewer’s idealology. Anyways he did some cool takes on engagement photos, which by the way is not a hint at anything its totally a coincidence. That topic seems to be brought up to me repeatedly so maybe Im just noticing those moments more, but I love the abstract angle taken. Get away from that mass cliche garbage. Here you go:

As I sat alone during the early hours of the morning, I prefer to consider it the middle of the night, with nothing but time to kill I found myself flipping back through this blog.
Do I ever play anymore? Obviously not because I have been away from home for 4 months now. The glamor of sailing the vast blue waters of this planet has long since faded and left me yearning for the comforts of home. Don’t be mistaken, silent black nights and bright cloudless days at sea are still an unbelievable site and experience to witness. But even the most beautiful sunsets that cause the sky to illuminate with a firey orange on the horizon do not hold the same value when they can not be shared. It’s times like those, when your eyes are fixated on attempting to absorb every drop of light that your mind is left to wander. There is no need for the brain to explain what is happening around you, it is just mesmerized that you drift into silence. Without the need for processing reasoning, I begin pondering questions and meanings in life. Theories and reasoning race down the super highway in my head, whizzing by so fast that at times I miss it entirely. Like a policeman waiting on the shoulder of a speedtrap, I must focus on one target at a time because the possibility of catching everyone is unrealistic.
It doesn’t matter how often I find myself waiting for the right target, the same culprit catches my attention. Sharing the experiences with someone else. The moment where each of you stand there in silence, holding onto the single desire to absorb every aspect that is happening around you. The lack of spoken words embraces the fact that it is unexplainable. “The true beauty in life is not actually what is occurring around you, rather it is the ability to share those simple moments with another individual.” When you can walk away sighing because the body feels so refreshed and content. There is a silent understanding of how you truly feel that words and photos will never be able to explain.
That is the beauty of life. Find those moments of silence and endulge yourself because nobody can rob you of them. They are waiting around every corner, in broad daylight, under a lid, just past you. Take the time to slow down and experience life because once the moment has passed you will never be able to relive it.
“Work to live, don’t live to work.” Life is too amazing to spend it away from the ones you care about. Experience all that it has to offer, or as much as you can because the possibilities are endless. For now Im going to continue listening to Explosions in the Sky and absorbing their talents of sound.

so calm its soothing to the soul

the lonely path
Being work means no drinking for months at a time. The age of sailors being drunken fools is over thanks to the Coast Guard especially when you’re license is at hand.
But the end is near and I have wetted my whistle. This month the drink is a classic, “The Old Fashion” Order one up.
