Setting sail Saturday. Had to jump back to work early in order to get off in time for the November wedding, its kind of a big deal. Catching the ship in Houston for reflagging stuff, then to Charleston for cargo load and then the long journey to Mumbai, India. Yep another 30something day transit. Perhaps through the Suez canal, perhaps around South Africa, either way we’re going through Pirate waters. Its a long trip thats all I know.worldMap copy

When you fall behind, answer back with a homer with 2 men on base. Astros game this past Monday was a good time followed by a first time trip to Anvil bar & lounge. They make cocktails the way they should be done, just like Prohibition.

Got to taste Little Big’s for the first time. Order in Threes. Chicken, beef and shroom sliders made fresh daily on homemade rolls. They just hit the spot along with homeMade milkshakes, Saint Arnolds beer and a huge selection of wine.

Happened to stumble across these 2 bags in my parents garage which I’ve never seen before. The brown one was empty so I loaded up my gear into bc its much cooler than the Pelican case. But the black bag was filled with a jewel….a Polaroid 430 with all of the manuals and film. We’ll see if I can figure it out. Stay tuned for photos.

After our engagement photos I couldn’t resist pulling out my camera and snapping away. Rest at FLICKR.

$8 pitchers of Shiner, $2 shrimp cocktails, $1.50 fish tacos. The rain cleared and the beer flowed.

We walked down the street for an afternoon walk, but instead I stopped with the camera for an hour. A few more FLICKR

This past weekend marked the 5th Annual Emma Long camp out. That’s half a decade right there. Beer, girls, wakeboards, jet skis, booze cruises, rope swings, cove parties and more. Too many good stories to talk about.

Ran across this via iso50 You can see the rest of Mike’s videos at his BLOG. As if I didn’t want the Mark II already, the quality that I see continues to amaze me.
